Death Valley Camping

Camping at Panamint Springs was pleasant in that it was quiet while we were there in late October. There was only one other tent set up in the campground. Then again, there was only five tent sites in the campground and some places for RVs. Hot showers in modern bathrooms are included in the camping fee and there is a store across the street that serves breakfast indoors or on the porch. The only drawback is that it is close to nothing (and also a benefit).

A quick warning to say that we used a calling card on the payphone and got charged $10 by the company that services the phone.
