Volubilis |
|
Volubilis is a Roman ruin with many mosaic floors remaining. It is not impressive in size like Pompeii or Herculanium, but it makes for a nice trip while in Morocco. The artifacts found at this site are in the Archeology Museum in Rabat. The countryside is beautiful out here and can be seen from all sides of the ruins. Tour busses frequent this place so an early morning start can be a good idea. |
